Court rules National Assembly speaker did not abuse animals

Johannesburg – The Potchefstroom Regional Court has ruled that there is no prima facie case against National Assembly speaker Thandi Modise.

Modise was charged with animal cruelty after more than 50 animals were found dead on her farm.

The court rules that there’s not enough evidence to prove animal cruelty by National Assembly speaker.
