Eskom suffers R18.9 billion loss

Johanesburg – Eskom said it’s on course to achieve financial and operational stability despite suffering an R18.9 billion loss.

The power utility reduced its gross outstanding debt by nearly R82 billion.

It generated revenue of over R204 billion in the 20/21 financial year, but the power utility suffered an R18.9 billion loss.

Eskom released its annual results on Tuesday.
