Johannesburg – Public Protector, Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane, has withdrawn her Chief Justice application.
Mkhwebane joins Wallace Mqoqi who withdrew at the beginning of October.
President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to decide which of the remaining six nominees to shortlist for the JSC position.
The candidates will then go through a JSC interview and National Assembly consultation.
