Orlando Pirates co-coach Mandla Ncikazi has revealed the technical team never lost faith in Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah.
Peprah didn’t score any goals in the first few games that he played for the Buccaneers but the technical team continues to defend and field him.

The marksman, 21, finally opened his goalscoring account for Pirates with a brace in the 2-1 win over Marumo Gallants on Monday.
Ncikazi said signs were always there that Peprah would come good in the end as they watched him as coaches and not the way fans saw him.
“Peprah has always had signs, unlucky in some moments and some efforts. As a technical team, we had the responsibility to support him, and it’s important that we see the game as coaches, not like everybody else,” said Ncikazi.

“Him not scoring but still contributing to the team set up in building the attack and giving the assist if it’s possible – that is a contribution which is how we saw the match. I’m so happy that he started scoring today (Monday).
