22 people have reportedly been killed in a blast near a chemical plant in China on Wednesday.
Another 22 people have been injured, they’ve been taken to nearby hospitals to seek medical treatment.
Authorities say all the fires have been put out, however buildings as well as a dozen vehicles were destroyed in the process.
The safety standards in China have been a growing concern because after three decades of swift economic growth, the country has been hit with a number of incidents ranging from mining disasters to factory fires.
The explosion and fire in China’s Zhangjiakou also burned 50 large and small trucks.
