Johannesburg – The National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) is waiting on a court order to sought by business over mandatory vaccines.
NEDLAC represents the joint platform for business, government and labour.
Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi said NEDLAC believes the promotion of vaccines remains the best way of preventing the further spread of Covid-19 and lockdowns.
President Cyril Ramaphosa is choosing a consultative approach to decide on the imposition of vaccine mandates.
However, the minister said NEDLAC will wait on the court.
