South Africa

Cape Town – The case of four suspects linked to multiple mass shootings in Philippi East and Gugulethu has been postponed.

Police made breakthrough arrests in July.

Over ten people were killed in the shootings in Cape Town’s informal settlements earlier this year.

Three suspects, between the ages of 23 and 26, appeared in Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

Two of the suspects have additional pending matters.

The bail application for three of the suspects has been set for 18 December and one suspect is expected to appear on 23 December.
