Caster Semenya has proven once again why she is South Africa’s Golden Girl after she walked away with three awards including the Sports Star of the Year accolade.
The SA Sports Awards was held in Bloemfontein on Sunday evening.
It has been yet another incredible year for Semenya after she broke several national records in the 400m, 800m and 1,500m events in 2018.
Semenya walked away with the People’s Choice Award, as well as the Sports Woman of the Year award.
Swimmer Chad Le Close walked away with the Sportsman of the Year award.
