Johannesburg – Covid-19 cases in South Africa have increased by 19,842.
Gauteng continues to be the hotspot with 11,703 new infections.
KwaZulu-Natal follows with 1,989 cases, while the Western Cape is on 1,899 infections and Mpumalanga with 1,103 new cases.
The positivity rate sits at 26.8%.
Sadly, 36 people have died due to Covid-19 complications. The death toll now sits at 90.038.
