Johannesburg – Suspended Presidency spokesperson Khusela Diko is fighting back.
This after the ANC in Gauteng charged her for failing to disclose her husband’s business interests to the ANC PEC, or any office bearer of the Provincial Executive Council.
In a statement through her lawyers, Diko says the entire Provincial Disciplinary Committee hearing was based on a defective and incompetent charge sheet.
Diko says there is no ANC rule or policy that bars spouses of ANC members from doing business with government entities.
She said the party currently has no rule or policy that requires a disclosure by its members of potential conflicts of that nature.
