LIVE VIDEO: State Capture Inquiry resumes

South Africa

No witnesses will take the stand today at the State Capture Inquiry.

Earlier this week, the inquiry heard testimonies from Former Public Enterprises Minister, Barbara Hogan as well as Former GCIS CEO Mzwanele Manyi.

Barbara Hogan accused former president Jacob Zuma of forcing her to appoint Siyabonga Gama as Transnet’s CEO.

The CEO of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa, Angela Cherrington, says a more vigorous approach is needed when appointing board members in the public sector.
