Police in Zimbabwe have arrested a leader of an opposition party – MDC Alliance national executive member Joel Gabhuza who is also Member of Parliament for Binga South. He was arrested for
Disregarding the authority of the Zimbabwean president – President Emmerson Mnangagwa after he is alleged to have called a dog incapable of leading the country.
The comments were apparently made at a funeral in Manzyasiya village in Chief Pashu’s area on the 23rd of October attended by Gabhuza as provincial chair for the MDC.
He assumed the position after his party split with MDC-T party led by Thokozani Khupe.
