Mmakau family murder-accused released on bail

Johannesburg – A 20-year-old North West woman accused of ordering a hit on her family was released on bail.

Onthatile Sebati and her co-accused Tunelo Mokone and Kagiso Mokone have been granted bail of R10,000 each.

Sebati is accused of ordering the murder of her parents, brother and pregnant sister in 2016.

At the time of the murders in 2016, she was 16 years old.

Sebati confessed to the murders, leading police to her alleged accomplices.

The case was postponed to allowed her to undergo a mental evaluation. They were arrested in December last year.
