Netflix, an online streaming Inc will now make provision for users to choose how a TV episode or movie will end as it aims to go further into Interactive TV, Bloomberg reported.
The Los Gatos, California-based company is developing specials that will enable its users to contribute to the storyline, Bloomberg said, citing people familiar with the matter.
Netflix had earlier released an animated program “Puss in Book” where viewers had a choice to different endings of the same show.
The first project of the new lineup is expected to be released towards the end of this year, and Netflix’s popular sci-fi show “Black Mirror” will feature an episode under this project.
Further details about Netflix’s new projects are yet to be released.
