Mmabatho Mabayo has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer of Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation and take over from Donné Nico.
“Mmabatho has contributed immensely to the Foundation’s mission in driving programs that contribute to the socio-economic development of our country. I have no doubt that she will continue to grow the organisation and make the necessary impact for our people, ” Nicol said.
The foundation helps to improve education and support businesses that are in the process of starting up through the programs that they have available.
Maboya began her senior management career in local government about 18 years ago and later joined the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation in 2015 when she took up the role of Strategy and Partnerships Executive.
“I believe the work that we do creates opportunities that change lives. We have through our 14 years of existence developed tried and tested models that make a sustainable difference. With the continued support of our partners, as well as new ones, we effect real and meaningful change for disadvantaged school communities, tertiary students and Black entrepreneurs. I am honoured to be afforded the opportunity to lead this remarkable organisation,” said Maboya, praising Nicol for upholding the Foundation’s values.
