Norma Mngoma court case postponed to October

Johannesburg – The case against the wife of former Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba, Norma Mngoma has been postponed to 23 October.

Mngoma briefly appeared at the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Monday.

She is facing charges of malicious damage to property and crimen injuria.

The court has postponed the case for further investigations and also a pending matter in the High Court.

Mngoma’s legal team has made an application in the High Court to declare the case invalid and unconstitutional.

The legal also needs to be furnished with outstanding documents.

Mngoma’s estranged husband, Malusi Gigaba, opened the case against her.
