Johannesburg – Billions have been spent to fund higher education students, that is according to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
It said although it has dealt with funding challenges and delays, it’s turning things around.
NSFAS applicants will now know in time whether they have been accepted for funding and their fees will be paid immediately.
It also said it’s looking into complaints from TVET college students that they’ve not received their monthly allowances, apparently due to the system being hacked.
