Cape Town – One person has been arrested outside Brackenfell High School in Cape Town where members of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) clashed with parents on Monday.
The man, 39, has been arrested after discharging a firearm during clashes between EFF members and parents of Brackenfell High School.

The school is embroiled in a racism row after it allegedly held a private function without inviting learners of colour.
One parent, who asked for her identity to be hidden, says racism is rife at the school.
Parents and former pupils have also vowed to use force if provoked by the EFF.
The South African Police Service in the province says police will remain on the scene until calm is restored.
