The acting CEO of the Public Investment Corporation Matshepo More has been suspended.
It is in response to claims of interference with the PIC inquiry.
The board says it wants to ensure the free participation of staff in the inquiry process.
“Allegations pertaining to interference with the process of the Commission of Inquiry were brought to the attention of the PIC Board,” PIC said in a statement.
“The Board deliberated on the matter and concluded that to ensure free participation of staff in the Commission of Inquiry process, to place Ms Matshepo More on precautionary suspension with immediate effect.”
The PIC board said it has appointed the Executive Head of Properties, Vuyani Hako, as acting CEO.
