Ramaphosa to announce new NPA boss

President Cyril Ramaphosa is on Tuesday expected to announce the new National Director of Public Prosecutions.

A few weeks ago, he appointed concluded interviewing 12 candidates for the job. Five names were then forwarded to him so that he can make the final decision.

The new NPA boss will take over from Shaun Abrahams, who quit after his appointment was declared invalid.

The candidates for the job are Advocates Simphiwe Mlotshwa, Shamila Batohi, Siyabulela Mapoma, Rodney de Kock and Andrea Johnson.
