Liverpool talisman Sadio Mane has been nominated among six other, including two teammates from the newly-crowned champions for the Premier League Player of the Season award.
Seven player, Mane, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kevin De Bruyne, Danny Ings, Jordan Henderson, Nick Pope and Jamie Vardy are all in the contest for the prestigious award.
The votes of the public will be combined with those of the 20 club captains and a panel of football experts to decide the winner.
Mane, born in Senegale, scored 18 goals and added seven assists, often providing decisive moments of quality in close contest. He scored winning goals in five matches and won the stoppage-time penalty that secured a late victory over Leicester City.
