Traffic on the country’s highways is expected to increase on Friday.
With just a few days to Christmas, multitudes of people will be travelling to their holiday destinations.
Authorities have urged motorists to be cautious on the roads, and adhere to speed limits as well as road rules.
Since the beginning of December, approximately 767 people have died as a result of road accidents.
