Johannesburg – The man accused of a triple murder and rape in Sobantu in KwaZulu-Natal has abandoned his bail application.
Angry protesters have been gathering outside the Pietermaritzburg magistrate’s court expressing their opposition to the 29-year-old being granted bail.
Zanele Ndlela, her daughter Smangele and grandchild Zenande were found dead in their home on Monday.
Family members of the deceased say he should remain behind bars.
