A recent study into voter preferences is showing a swing back towards the ANC.
The study was conducted by the Centre for Social Development in Africa (CSDA).
The study shows trust in the presidency’, has improved, with 55% of respondents saying they trust the presidency under Cyril Ramaphosa.
Director of CSDA, Professor Leila Patel says the study also shows that grant beneficiaries are sticking with the ruling party because of being scared that they might lose their grants.
Patel also says that younger voters are likely to choose a different party.
