BARCLAYS Bank Zambia has been awarded the prestigious 2019 Best Corporate Bank and 2019 Best Corporate Socially Responsible (CSR) Bank in Zambia by Global Banking and Finance.
Managing Director, Mizinga Melu said that this was the second consecutive year the Barclays had received the Best Corporate Bank in Zambia award from Global Banking and Finance.
She said Barclays was proud to receive the prestigious awards as a testament to the commitment to playing a major role in the economy of the country.
This is contained in a statement issued by the bank’s marketing and communications manager Banji Lufungulo yesterday.
Ms Melu said the bank has invested more than K15 million in the last two years as part of the shared-value approach, motivated by the desire to make a difference in communities.
