Zimbabweans have resorted to buying fuel and other necessities at the border town of Musina in South Africa.
Some petrol tankers have been spotted passing through the Beitbridge border post.
Deadly protests broke out in Zimbabwe earlier this week following a whopping 150-percent fuel price hike there.
South Africa’s Home Affairs Department’s saying it hasn’t seen a higher number of Zimbabwean nationals crossing the border but it has a contingency plan in place to ensure the smooth movement of people continues.
