Cape Town – Police in Cape Town are investigating another school shooting at a primary school in Heinz Park.
A Grade 6 teacher was gunned down after he parked his vehicle on the school grounds in the morning before the beginning of school.
Shocked teachers refused to be interviewed about the incident and pupils were sent home.
The Western Cape Education Department has confirmed that a teacher at Heinz Park Primary School was shot and killed on school premises.
Locals say the incident took place just before 8am.
Witnesses say they heard gunshots fired and after that they saw two men leaving school premises.
It’s not clear what led to the shooting incident.
