Johannesburg – The Automobile Association is predicting a major fuel price increase at midnight.
According to the association, the price of petrol is likely to increase by R1.73 a litre, while diesel is expected to rise by R1.74 and paraffin by over R2.
Motorists saw a steep decline in the fuel price during the first few months of lockdown but higher oil prices mean fuel will cost much more at the pumps.
