Johannesburg – The Eastern Cape is calling for medical reinforcements. Premier Oscar Mabuyane says there has been an improvement in testing for Covid-19.
“New developments have happened since the last media briefing and we have seen significant improvement in testing.
“This enables us to know the magnitude of the challenge we are facing on this fight against Covid-19,” Mabuyane said.
The premier has also applauded the frontline health workers in the province helping to battle the coronavirus.
Mabuyane says as of Monday more than 14,000 people have recovered from the virus.
