An ANC councillor in uMlazi, south of Durban is expected to appear for a bail application at the Umlazi Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
He was arrested in connection with the murder of a fellow council member Sibusiso Maphumulo, who was gunned down outside his home in October this year. Three men, Sandile Mvelase, and
Nkosingiphile and Phumlani Nojiyeza – who are related to the ANC councillor in Umlazhave have already appeared in court over Maphumulo’s murder.
