Former Miss South Africa and businesswoman Basetsana Khumalo celebrated her 48th birthday on Tuesday.
Basetsana marked her special day with a lengthy and unfeigned heartfelt message.
She first shared the verse Nehemiah 8:10 from the Bible and proceeded to say: “On this 48th chapter, today I am thankful for the gift of life, I am thankful for good health, today I am thankful for all the blessings that abound in my life.”
Basi acknowledges the vital role that the people around her, both near and far, have played and continue to play in her life.
“Today I am thankful for family and friends, I am thankful for all the people I work with near and far. Today I am thankful for all the love that surround me.”
She is also grateful for her life experiences as they shaped the woman she is today.
“I am grateful for the lessons I have learned. I am grateful for life experiences – the good, the bad, and the ugly. They have defined the woman I am today.”
Wishing his wife a happy birthday, Romeo Khumalo thanked Basetsana for the love and light she’s brought into their family.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful Queen. Thank you for the love and light you bring into our lives and for being an amazing partner and mother. All God’s blessings on your special day. Romeo, Nkosinathi, Kgositsele le Bontle ba Morena,” posted Romeo.
