Cape Town – Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of teenage defender Patrick Fisher from fellow Mother City club Cape Town Spurs.
The Citizens have bolstered their squad with a third new signing ahead of the 2021/22 DStv Premiership season after announcing the arrival of 18-year-old right-back Fisher on Friday.
“City are delighted to confirm the signing of 18-year-old South African right-back Patrick Fisher. A star on the rise!” shared the club in a statement.
Fisher, who is also capable of playing as a centre-back, made 16 appearances for Spurs in the GladAfrica Championship last season.
The arrival of fisher at the club comes just days after City secured the signatures of Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Darren Keet and former Maritzburg United shot-stopper Bongani Mpandle.
