Johannesburg – The Tourism Business Council of South Africa’s Tshifhiwa Tshivhengwa says allowing fully vaccinated people into the country without requiring a test will help the tourism sector’s recovery.

He said PCR tests are expensive and make it difficult to travel.
Announcing the easing of Covid-19 regulations on Tuesday, President Cyril Ramaphosa said visitors need to show only proof of vaccination.

However, those who are not vaccinated will need to get a negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours.
