Former VBS CFO intends to plead guilty

Johannesburg – Former VBS Mutual Bank CFO, Philip Truter has been granted bail of R50,000 and intends to plead guilty.

Truter appeared in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Palm Ridg on Monday.

Truter is 8th suspect arrested in connection with the VBS bank heist. The other seven suspects were granted bail of R100,000 each.

Over R2-billion went missing from VBS Mutual Bank.
