Gavin Hunt is back in South Africa following his trip to Manchester City where he spent a few weeks with their technical team.

Hunt left for Man City earlier this month to try and equip himself with knowledge by earning from one of the best technical teams in the world.

When he left the country, Hunt revealed that he would also look for coaching opportunities while in Manchester, but his return could mean he hasn’t received anything.

Hunt was one of the attendees at the MetroWired Legends Golf Day in Sandton on Tuesday where Bafana Bafana’s Class of ’96 was celebrated.

He has not been attached to any team since his departure from Chippa United in December 2021 where he had spent four months.

He was linked with a number of clubs, including Orlando Pirates and Swallows FC at the time, but nothing came out of the rumours.

However, the Pirates rumour is refusing to die down as he continues to be linked with them while AmaZulu’s name has also been bandied about.

With Hunt now back in the country, Gavin is expected to step up his hunt for a job in the PSL ahead of next season.
