The heatwave that’s gripped many parts of South Africa is expected to come to an end on Thursday.
Extreme temperatures have been experienced in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, the North West, Free State and the Northern Cape.Temperatures reached the high 30s, rising above 40-degrees in certain places.
Thunderstorms are expected to bring relief from the heat this evening.
And cooler weather is the expected forecast for the next few days.
