The iStore in South Africa announced pricing for the iPhone XR, which cost users R15 999.
Pre-orders for the cheaper iPhone open on 19th October (this Friday) and pricing starts at R15 999 for the 64GB iteration of the smartphone. The payment plan options are part of the FNB Credit Card Payment plan and are priced according to a 37- month contract.
iStore added that online contract upgrades for both Vodacom and MTN for iPhone Xs and Xs Max will also be available from Friday. The iPhone XR uses Apple’s own Liquid Retina display .
While the handset is lighter on specifications than its XS peers, it does house the A12 Bionic chip that is featured in the XS and XS Max.
