Jali: Sundowns made the transition easy

Johannesburg – Andile Jali says his transition back into the Premier Soccer League (PSL) was made easy by the environment and players at Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 30-year-old midfielder left South Africa in 2014 to join KV Oostende in the Belgian Pro League.

Jali has been in fine form since, and this season was instrumental in helping Downs lift the Telkom KnockOut, while they currently fight to defend their league title.

“Having come back home from Europe I always knew it was not going to be easy, but Sundown made the transition easier because I could feel that I did not come back to just any team but it felt like family, and I had all my brothers around me to assist me settle in,” Jali said.

He added that he feels the decision to return home was justified saying “Another big task I knew I had was to represent my country. It really feels good to have seen a positive response to my goals I had coming back home.”
