Kaizer Chiefs transfer news: Sithebe move delayed as AmaZulu reject Amakhosi offer

Kaizer Chiefs may have to wait even longer for Siyethemba Sithebe as Benni McCarthy’s AmaZulu rejected their recent offer for the player.

AmaKhosi is offered two players as part of a swop deal for Sithebe.

The attempted deal was rejected and met with anger by AmaZulu chairman, Sandile Zungu.

“AmaZulu So we will see with Sithebe, we were officially informed by Kaizer Chiefs that they were talking to him, but they haven’t come back to us ever since. They know what our expectations are if they have to get him by end of January. If they can’t get him in January we will do what’s in our best interest,”

“We don’t know when they need the player, but if they need him in this January transfer window they know what should happen. The other two players we rejected, we don’t need them. I won’t mention their names, they may be good for other teams but they are not good enough for AmaZulu,” said Zungu.

Sithebe was very close to joining Naturena this January but now the move has been put on hold.

AmaKhosi will have to make a much better offer to McCarthy’s Usuthu if Zungu is to approve the move this January.
