Johannesburg – Police in Gauteng have launched a manhunt after an on-duty police officer was shot and killed in Sandton on Thursday.
The South African Police Service launched a 72-hour activation plan.
National Police Commissioner Khehla Sithole said the motive for the shooting is the main focus of the investigation.
Sithole said there will be no rest until they make arrests.
