Mpumalanga ANC to vet all members

South Africa

Johannesburg – ANC deputy secretary in Mpumalanga, Lindiwe Ntshalintshali says the party will be going through its database to ensure that every member has been vetted.

This after the party revoked Philemon Lukhele’s membership over his alleged involvement in the kidnapping and murder Hillary Gardee.

Ntshalintshali said an internal investigation has revealed that Lukhele obtained his membership irregularly.

That he did not qualify for membership as he was not a South African citizen.
