The media company that produces Destiny, Destiny Men and Elle magazines will close its doors at the end of January 2019, and Mzansi is heartbroken.
SowetanLIVE reported that staff at Ndalo Media have not been paid for the month of November and it is highly unlikely that they will receive their December salaries soon.
The company which is owned by Khanyi Dhlomo, who has extensive experience in the media industry, has been had financial struggles from 2016.
Ndalo Media allegedly owes CTP Printers more than R13m for work done since 2016.

Audio footage in which Ndalo Media owner Khanyi Dhlomo confirmed that the media company will be closing the company in January 2019 was shared by a source with Sowetan Live.
She said: “Given just where we are and the various conversations we’ve had, I’ve decided to close down this company effective as of the 31st of January next year [2019].”
Sadness has been expressed through social media about the losses of jobs as a result of the closure of the media company. Many have expressed disappointment.
