Johannesburg – Employment and Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi says refugees have a right to employment in South Africa.
The minister says there must be a balance that includes international convention when it comes to job creation in South Africa.
This comes after truck drivers took to the streets to protest the hiring of foreign nationals in trucking industry.
Meanwhile, urgent efforts are underway to try and resolve the nationwide truck drivers’ strike.
