Cape Town – Alleged Parliament arsonist Zandile Mafe’s legal counsel has argued that his statement to the police was not a confession.
Advocate Dali Mpofu says Mafe claims he was forced to make a statement.
Mafe is accused of setting Parliament on fire earlier this year.
He is appealing the dismissal of his bail application.
