Johannesburg -Lockdown restrictions may be eased even further. That is according to minister of health, Joe Phaahla.
Phaahla said the lockdown level may be dropped if Covid-19 cases continue to decline.
The minister visited the Universitas Academic Hospital in Bloemfontein, Free State.
Phaahla said the third wave of coronavirus infections in South Africa was very long, but that we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel now.
He said the rate of new infections and hospitalisations are both declining.
