Johannesburg – “Don’t brand your taxis with political messages”.
That is the instruction from the SA National Taxi Association to taxi owners.
This follows a Limpopo taxi owner branding his fleet of taxis with ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule’s face and the words ‘hands off Ace Magashule’ on them.
Santaco President Phillip Taaibosch said: “We are not a political party we are not supporting any political party as Santaco.
“What we are doing is ensure we give service to everybody in South Africa. We are not going to allow any political party branding on any of our vehicles on the road.”
