The Nugent Commission of Inquiry into the South African Revenue Service (SARS) continues on Tuesday.
The first expected witness is former SARS Modernisation Executive, Andre Scheepers, IT Strategy Executive, Sello Mtshali and Business Relations Executive, Artwell Kunene.
SARS executive for IT strategy and architecture Andre Rabie on Monday said digital platforms could be on the verge of collapse.
Rabie gave evidence at the Nugent Commission of Inquiry on Monday.
Group executive of Business Solutions, Intikhab Shaik and Executive for Programme Management, Sue Burger also appeared before the commission.
The inquiry, which began its work in June, was appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa after he suspended SARS boss Tom Moyane.
