Johannesburg – The trial of the alleged mastermind behind the murder of Tshegofatso Pule, Ntuthuka Shoba, has been postponed to Thursday.
The state’s next witness is out of the province.
Shoba is on trial for ordering a hit on his pregnant girlfriend, allegedly to hide his affair with Pule from his wife.
Pule’s body was found hanging from a tree on the West Rand two years ago.
Her family is hoping that Shoba will take the stand and give his side of the story.
“I wish I could articulate more on the defense side I am hoping that they put him on the stand because given that the version that’s been given in court about how he intended to defend himself sounds like there’s a lot of explaining to do. Also just to explain what happened and give his side of the story and put this thing to rest.”
