The Nugent Commission into the South African Revenue Service (SARS) is set to resume public hearings on Monday.
Intikhab Shaik is first to take the stand.
He is the group executive of Business Solutions.
The inquiry, which began its work in June, was appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa after he suspended SARS boss Tom Moyane.
