Ambassadors from the United Kingdom (UK), the European Union, Germany, France and the United Nations (UN) have met Sudan’s deposed Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok at his residence in Khartoum.
The United Nations Integrated Assistance Mission Sudan (Unitams) tweeted about the meeting on Wednesday.
It said that the envoys had found him in good health.
“We continue to call for full restoration of his liberty,” it added.
US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, said on Thursday that he had spoken to Foreign Minister Mariam Sadiq al-Mahdi to condemn the arrest of civilian leaders.
He said they had discussed how the US could support Sudanese people’s call for a return to civilian democracy.
